KERRIN IS NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THE MOMENT.

All new clients will be required to pay 50% of the service as a booking fee to secure their first appointment. This will be deducted from the cost of your booked appointment.

All clients are sent an SMS 72 hours before their appointment. Please use this time to make any necessary changes to your appointment.

We require 48hrs notice for you to avoid a 50% late cancellation fee.

Urban Room Hair reserves the right to cancel non confirmed appointments.

We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. We do record these occurrences to prevent abuse of the policy.

Our goal is to be preventative and protect and accommodate our valued clients.

Urban Room Hair does not issue refunds on salon services. However, your satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any questions or concerns about your service, please contact the salon by phone or in person within 7 days (1 week) of your appointment, in line with the Small business and Competition and Consumer Act.

You will be required to return to the salon so we can assess your hair in person.

Where a concern is deemed reasonable, Urban Room Hair will make the necessary adjustments at no charge, provided they are completed within 7 days of the issue being reported.

We totally understand that plans (and hair ideas) can change. If you decide to switch your booked service on the day — especially from a longer service to a shorter one — we may not always be able to adjust our schedule.

If the change means we can’t fill the reserved time, a 50% fee of the original service may apply.

This helps us cover the time and prep we’ve set aside just for you.

No shows will result in a 50% charge of the service booked.

When you make a booking through Timely, we may gather your name, phone number, email address, appointment and service history, service notes pertinent to your visit, and deposit and payment records (excluding complete card details).

We only collect the information essential for managing bookings and delivering our services.

  • Deposits are required to secure appointments.
  • All deposits and payments are processed securely through
    Timely and its integrated payment providers.
  • We do not store full credit or debit card details on our
    systems.
  • Payment information is handled in accordance with Timely’s privacy and security standards.

There is a two-hour parking option available in front of the salon, along with paid parking on Flinders Street.

Yes! Spend and save with our loyalty program. For every dollar spent on services and retail, you’ll earn points. Collect 1500 points and you’ll receive a $20 reward to use in salon.

Why not turn your love for great hair into a rewarding experience?

By referring a friend to get your their hair done, you’ll both receive $25 off your services. Its as simple as gathering up your friends and encouraging them to book their appointments. Just make sure they mention your name during the booking process. Once they’ve completed their appointment, you can redeem your reward and treat yourself.

Our tiered pricing reflects the experience and training of each stylist, while ensuring exceptional service at every level.

We offer several different tiers, regardless of the tier you select; all services come with a comprehensive consultation and our dedication to delivering excellent results.

We do not offer discounts, as our commitment lies in providing the highest quality service with premium hair products. However, we do have packages available with our emerging stylists, who have undergone extensive training with us. To stay updated, be sure to follow our social media channels, as our emerging stylists occasionally look for models for their upcoming in-salon training sessions!

While we do accept walk-ins occasionally, we highly recommend booking an appointment to ensure you get the time slot that best suits you.

We’re delighted to welcome all our guests to our salon! Our space is all about creating beautiful hair, and some services, like colouring, can take several hours, so seating can be limited. To keep the experience safe and peaceful for everyone, we kindly ask that parents stay with their children during their visit.

When you visit our salon, you’re not just getting amazing hair – you’re helping the planet too! We’re proud members of Sustainable Salons Australia, which means:

  • Most of our salon waste – like foils, tubes, plastics, and hair- is recycled instead of going to landfill.
  • Hair clippings are repurposed for environmental projects, like oil spill clean-up, or community initiatives.
  • Proceeds from recycling programs support charities such as OzHarvest to help feed people in need.
